Purdue (2-3, 1-1) snapped a 19-game conference losing streak with a 24-17 win over Illinois last weekend. It was the Boilermakers first Big Ten victory since Nov. 25, 2023. History: The Gophers got run over in their last trip to Purdue in 2023, allowing a stunning 353 rushing yards in a 49-30 loss. Minnesota s glaring issues at linebacker allowed the Boilermakers to put up their highest rushing output since 2013. Minnesota beat Purdue 27-20 last season in Minneapolis, but are 8-22 in West Lafayette. Storyline: Minnesota is 2-0 in Big Ten play for the first time since 2019 and has a solid opportunity to be undefeated in conference play going
